Semi Tractor Trucks for Sale
Nigerian Buyers Came to See Our HOHAN Tractor Trucks
You know that feeling when you're showing someone your product, and you can already tell they're impressed?
That was August 12 for us.
Nigerian buyers flew all the way to Liangshan to check out our Sinotruk HOHAN tractor trucks. These guys run a fleet in Lagos – port hauls, cross-border freight, the kind of work that separates the tough trucks from the ones that break down on day one.
They'd been burned before. Bought used prime mover trucks from other Chinese suppliers. The photos looked great. The price was right. But when the trucks arrived? Worn-out engines. Transmission problems. Hidden issues that nobody told them about.
So this time, they decided to come see for themselves.
We're Not Buying Blind This Time
That's what the lead buyer told me when they arrived. No handshake, no small talk – just straight to the point.
We've been buying tractor heads from China for five years. We've had good deals and bad deals. The bad ones? They cost us time, money, and customers. We're done with that.
I respect that honesty. And honestly, I'd rather deal with a tough buyer who knows what he wants than someone who just nods and hopes for the best.
So we walked them through our yard.
We had hohan 6×4 tractor trucks ready for inspection. These are Sinotruk's heavy-duty platform – Weichai engines, 430 horsepower, manual transmission, reinforced chassis. The kind of horse trucks that African drivers swear by because they're tough, simple to fix, and parts are everywhere.
One of the buyers – a guy who'd been driving trucks for over 20 years – climbed into the cab and just sat there for a few minutes. Felt the seat. Checked the dash. Tested the controls.
Then he got out and said: "This feels like a truck that's been taken care of."
That was a good sign.
The Inspection
They brought their own mechanic. He spent hours under each truck – checking frame rails, suspension, driveline, brake systems. He fired up each engine one by one, listened for anything unusual, revved them up, watched for smoke.
He put the trucks through the paces. Clutch tests. Steering checks. Short test drives around our yard.
After about five hours, he walked over to his boss and gave a slow nod.
"We've seen enough," the buyer said. "We'll take all three."
No Haggling, No Games
Here's the thing – these guys knew what they were looking at. They'd done their homework. They knew the HOHAN's specs. They knew the market price. They knew the resale value back in Nigeria.
The lead buyer told me: "We've looked at ten different suppliers. Yours are the only ones that match what you showed us online. That's why we're buying from you."
He signed the order, paid the deposit, and asked about shipping arrangements.
The whole thing took maybe 15 minutes. No back-and-forth. No games. Just two businesses that respected each other getting a deal done.
August 12 was a good day for us. Not because we made a sale – that's just part of the job. But because we earned trust from people who've been let down before.
