African Client Places Order for Used Dump Trucks – Deposit Confirmed
We got a deposit confirmation from a client in Africa – been talking to them for about three weeks. They run a construction outfit, mostly road and infrastructure projects. They'd been looking for reliable used dump trucks to move earth and gravel on their job sites, and new ones were just too expensive for the volume they needed.
They'd been burned before by suppliers who sent them junk – trucks that looked decent in photos but fell apart within weeks. So when they reached out to us, they were careful. Asked a million questions. Sent their mechanic to video-call us while we started up the engines. We didn't mind – honestly, we'd rather have a client who cares.
We walked them through our stock of used Sinotruk HOWO dump trucks – 6x4, 371hp, heavy-duty frames. These are the ones guys in Africa love because they're simple to fix and parts are everywhere. They zeroed in on three units that had just come in. Good condition, full inspection done, fresh tires, new brake pads.
They came to visit us on July 25, took one last look, and signed the order. Put down 30% deposit on the spot. No haggling, no last-minute surprises. Just a handshake and a "let's do this."
One of the buyers told me: "You guys are the first supplier who showed us everything – the good and the bad. That's why we trust you."
That hit different.
Trucks will be shipped out in about three weeks. They've already mentioned they might need more by the end of the year.
